Privacy Policy
Placeholder. The full policy will be drafted with a mental-health-aware attorney before the site opens to the public. This page exists today so the signup form has a link to follow.
The short version, which the full policy will preserve
- We collect your email, the password you choose (stored as a hash, never as plaintext), the chosen name you want the site to call you, and a lightly-jittered version of your city (never your exact address).
- If you choose to add content to your profile, we store that too. It is yours. You can edit or delete it at any time.
- We do not sell data. We do not run advertising. We do not share member data with third parties except where required by law.
- We use a tiny set of vendors, each under a Data Processing Agreement: DigitalOcean (hosting), Postmark (transactional email), Let's Encrypt (TLS certificates), Stripe (if and when you use the marketplace). That is the full list.
- IP addresses in our server logs are rotated out after thirty days.
- You can export all your data or delete your account at any time. Deleted accounts are fully purged within thirty days, except for your chosen name which we hold for one year so no one can impersonate you.
